I have shown systemic design the scales of design diagram but I didn't feel a need to call it out specifically. From my point of view, systemic design is a branded (non-exhaustive) curated collection of system-level design methods. Regarding whether I was referring to "systems" in the systems dynamics context or in the systemic design context, I use systems as a level of scale. On that "systems" level, there are overlapping methods between the two as systemic design includes long-established systems dynamics methods. However, systems dynamics is concerned with more than just the design-infused methods, and in includes mathematical and computational models that aid in decision making, problem solving and simulating the behaviour of systems in various domains. Which is exactly why I hope that designers use whatever methods they find useful at a system level (just like they do at all the level below) rather than worrying whether what they do falls within a certain moniker or branded collection.
